At a young age of 21, superstar Kathryn Bernardo added another title to her name – CEO. Last 2017, her long-planned dream of establishing a nail salon came true when KathNails was launched. The bankable actress always wanted to keep herself pampered even at a young age. And the particular beauty regime she really looks forward to the most, is making her nails look pretty with different colored polish.

Ever since, mahilig na ‘ko (magpa-nails). Kikay ako nung bata, eh. Alam mo yun?

Since photo shoots, tapings, and endorsements are already a mainstay in Kath’s life as a celebrity, keeping her nails at their best form is a necessity.

However, it was only after a few years that the mom and daughter actually started inquiring about possible locations, creative ideas, and services that the salon will offer. The business name was decided after playing with Kathryn and Daniel Padilla’s on screen love team name (KathNiel). Although Kathryn is not that hands-on on her business, she told in an interview with Pep 3 years ago that she was fully involved in all matters about the business. These include deciding what furniture, interior design, services, and kind of nail polishes is found in the salon.

KathNails offers more than your regular mani and pedi. They also offer massage, wax, threading, and party package services. Check out more details about them here!

Another celebrity that invested on a “feel good” business is Liza Soberano. The actress and commercial model always had a spot in her heart for everything about wellness and relaxation. She recalled way back when she was just starting in the industry how a simple massage can take away her stress and uplift her spirit whenever she got declined for a role.

“Back when I would still audition for commercials and TV shows, I would always feel down whenever I would get declined for the part. I mean, who wouldn’t? So one way I relaxed and uplifted my spirit was by going to nail spas, which made me realize that no matter how different our individual lifestyles may be, we all turn to our daily routines; we turn to our rituals [that] give us hope,” Liza shared in an interview with Preview.

Angrydobo is the first business venture that Mr. and Mrs. Agoncillo invested in. From the business name itself, the restaurant specializes in their unique tasting adobo dish. Interestingly, Juday’s version of the classic Filipino viand came about after cooking the dish when she and the husband argued years ago in Los Angeles.

Finally, after constant doubt and back and forth decisions, Judy Ann finally gave it a go. The first branch which was launched last 2019 is located in Taft Avenue, across De La Salle University. For its opening and succeeding days of operation, the fruit of labor and love that the couple poured in to their restaurant was warmly welcomed by the customers. And so, earlier this year, they branch out in Alabang to cater the hangry people from the South.

Aside from the appetizing adobo that comes in your choice of meat selection, the restaurant also gives you that chill and kilig vibes through its interiors. From the wall and ceiling decors that are plastered with love quotes, to the cute angry heart logo, every aspect will surely keep you coming back again and again.

Judy Ann Santos defies the role of a showbiz personality. Aside from being a full time mom, loving wife, and remarkable actress, she also made time to enhance her cooking skills. Preparing heartwarming and delectable dishes in her kitchen is something that always brings her joy. The love she have for culinary even extends outside her home when she ventured into a YouTube channel showcasing easy yet tasty food that viewers can try on their own. So, to question Mrs. Agoncillo’s love for food and cooking, is something that is not up for discussion.

But for Vice Ganda, nothing beats the classic lipstick. No one can deny that the comedian – host phenomenal star has established so much in his life since he started his career in showbiz. From their humble home in Tondo to the several mansions that he owns, success is not just an idea but a reality for Vice.

Constant projects are being offered to him. However, he still managed to come up with his own makeup line. Looking at him, one may think that this kind of business is created solely out of the comedian’s love for cosmetics. Yes, it’s true. But, the story behind is beyond what we think we know.

As a young boy, Vice used to play with her mother’s makeup particularly that single lipstick she has. Until one day, he accidentally broke the lipstick. His mom then told him that the lipstick she purchased is still unpaid. And yet, it was of no use anymore.
