A few days before Christmas, the country adds another tragedy to 2020. Perpetrated by a police man, no less.
Sonya Gregorio, 52, and her son Frank, 25, were shot dead by Police Corporal Jonel Nuezca in Tarlac Province. The whole incident started over a boga or an improvised canon which was being fired by Frank Gregorio the night of the shooting.
Needless to say, it set the world of social media on fire, with the hashtags #PULISANGTERORISTA#ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY, and #STOPTHEKILLINGSPH trending everywhere.
